Louisiana High School Softball - Pine bounces Salmen
March 11, 2024: Franklinton, LA 70438 Pine Raiders (Franklinton, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Raiders now own a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a 3A District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. Pine will face a Hornets squad coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, Salmen falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Spartans host Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA) to face the Hawks in a 4A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 12. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Archbishop Hannan won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA)
