The South Mecklenburg Sabres baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Berry Cardinals to 4 in the Sabres league win on Tuesday.

The Sabres now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Marvin Ridge for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 12. South Mecklenburg will clash with a Mavericks team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-1.
