The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Gaston Christian Eagles to 1 in the Warriors league win on Tuesday.

The Warriors now hold a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hickory Grove Christian for a NICSAA Metrolina test on Friday, March 14. Metrolina Christian Academy will play a Lions team coming off a 12-0 league win over Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Gaston Christian drops to 2-1 on the year. The Eagles host Providence Day (Charlotte, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league test on Thursday, March 13. The Chargers go into the test with a record of 5-2. Providence Day won 16-5 in their recent non-league test against SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC)
