March 11, 2025: Stockbridge, GA 30281 Lafayette Christian Cougars (LaGrange, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Community Christian Knights (Stockbridge, GA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lafayette Christian moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Trinity Christian School of Griffin (Griffin, GA) to meet the LIONS in a GAPPS I-A Sectional 2 test on Monday, March 17. The LIONS come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Knights now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Creekside Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, March 14. Community Christian will meet a Cougars team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to St. George's (Milner, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
