The Bangs Dragons baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Goldthwaite Eagles to 2 in the Dragons non-league win on Wednesday.

The Dragons now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Coleman for a 2A Region I District 7 outing on Tuesday, March 17. Bangs will encounter a Bluecats squad coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Gordon (Gordon, TX). The Bluecats record now stands at 2-1.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Mason (Mason, TX). The Punchers enter the 2A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Mason nipped Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX), 7-3, in a league challenge.
