Arkansas High School Baseball - Izard County can't hold off Sloan-Hendrix
March 12, 2024: Imboden, AR 72434 In Tuesday's league game, the host Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Izard County Cougars.
The Greyhounds (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Vernon-Enola (Mt. Vernon, AR). The Warhawks go into the 2A Region 2 game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Mt. Vernon-Enola was edged by South Side (Bee Branch, AR), 7-6, in a league game.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Quitman (Quitman, AR). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region 2 game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Quitman was edged by South Side (Bee Branch, AR), 9-0, in a league game.
