March 12, 2024: Albany, GA 31701 In Tuesday's league battle, the host Monroe Golden Tornadoes soccer squad scored a close 4-3 triumph over the Dougherty Trojans.
The Golden Tornadoes (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Carver (Columbus, GA). The Tigers come into the 3A Region 1 battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Carver was nudged by Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 9-0, in a league battle.
The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Thomasville (Thomasville, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region 1 battle with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Thomasville held off Carver (Columbus, GA), 10-0, in a league bout.
