Louisiana High School Softball - Central Catholic bounces Covenant Christian Academy
March 12, 2024: Houma, LA 70364 Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA), 13-3 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Destrehan for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13. Central Catholic will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Bourgeois (Gray, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-5.
With the loss, Covenant Christian Academy falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA) to battle the Tigers in a 1A District 7 challenge on Thursday, March 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Hanson Memorial lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA)
