Texas High School Softball - Vista Ridge bounces Vandegrift
March 12, 2024: Cedar Park, TX 78613 Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), 8-1 in a league challenge.
The Rangers now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Round Rock for a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Vista Ridge will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 9-9.
With the loss, Vandegrift falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Vipers host Round Rock Westwood (Austin, TX) to battle the Warriors in a 6A Region IV District 25 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Round Rock Westwood won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Manor (Manor, TX)
