The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Largo Packers (Largo, FL) and the visiting Tarpon Springs Spongers (Tarpon Springs, FL), saw Largo's baseball team gain a win over Tarpon Springs by a tally of 5-1.

The Packers (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pinellas Park (Largo, FL). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Pinellas Park was overwhelmed by Countryside (Clearwater, FL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Spongers face the Victory Christian Academy Storm (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 14. Tarpon Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Storm enter the battle with a 9-4 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Frostproof (Frostproof, FL).
