The Largo Packers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Clearwater Tornadoes to 2 in the Packers non-league win on Friday.

The Packers now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they host Countryside for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. Largo will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 12-6.

With the defeat, Clearwater drops to 10-5 on the year. The Tornadoes travel to Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 5-12. Zephyrhills won 31-1 in their recent non-league test against Tenoroc (Lakeland, FL)
