The Lincoln County Falcons softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Austin Black Bears to 2 in the Falcons non-league win on Wednesday.

The Falcons now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelbyville Central for a 4A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 18. Lincoln County will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 12-10 non-league loss to Moore County (Lynchburg, TN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Austin moves to 12-9 on the season. The Black bears host Spain Park (Hoover, AL) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. The Jaguars come into the battle with a record of 8-7. Spain Park lost 6-4 in their recent non-league battle against Thompson (Alabaster, AL)
