Brookwood Panthers (Brookwood, AL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL), 2-1 in a league outing.

The Panthers (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Paul W. Bryant (Cottondale, AL). The Stampede go into the 6A Area 6 outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Paul W. Bryant was edged by Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL), 4-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Northridge Jaguars (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a 6A Area 6 test, on Tuesday, March 24. Central will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL).
