The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) and the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), observed Archbishop Mitty's softball team get by Gilroy by a score of 7-1.

With the triumph, Archbishop Mitty improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Monarchs host Capuchino (San Bruno, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 17. The Mustangs enter the contest with a record of 1-2. Capuchino won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Notre Dame (Belmont, CA)
