In Thursday's league match, the host Merryville Panthers softball team scored a nice 18-0 win over the Oberlin Tigers.

The Panthers (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Notre Dame (Crowley, LA). The Pioneers come into the non-league match with a 12-1 record. In their last match, Notre Dame notched a victory over Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA), 16-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 16. Oberlin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
