In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils basketball team scored a tight 48-45 triumph over the Dakota Cougars.

In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots (Warren, MI) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, March 15. Grosse Pointe South will attempt to better on its 21-4 season record. The Pilots enter the match with a 16-8 record after their 65-30 non-league win over L'Anse Creuse (Harrison Township, MI).
