March 13, 2023: Moncks Corner, SC 29461 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Academic Magnet Raptors (North Charleston, SC) and the host Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC), saw Academic Magnet's soccer squad knock off Berkeley by a margin of 2-0.
The Raptors now sport a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to River Bluff for a non-league test on Friday, March 17. Academic Magnet will meet a Gators squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Lexington (Lexington, SC). The Gators record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Berkeley drops to 2-3 on the season. The Stags travel to Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC) to meet the Gators in a AAAAA Region 6 test on Friday, March 17. The Gators come into the test with a record of 2-4. Goose Creek lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC)
