Texas High School Softball - Petrolia bounces Archer City
March 13, 2023: Petrolia, TX 76377 The Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX) softball routed the visiting Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX), 13-3 in Monday's league bout.
The Pirates (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Windthorst (Windthorst, TX). The Trojans go into the 2A Region II District 9 bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Windthorst notched a victory over Graford (Graford, TX), 15-0, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Graford for a 2A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, April 4. Archer City will confront a Rabbits squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX). The Rabbits record now stands at 1-5.
