In Wednesday's league contest, the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Chapel Hill Red Devils (Mount Pleasant, TX), by a margin of 16-1.

With the triumph, Quitman moves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Bulldogs host Harmony (Big Sandy, TX) to play the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 13 contest on Friday, March 22. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 6-9.
