The Annapolis Area Christian Eagles (Severn, MD) baseball trounced the visiting St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings (Buckeystown, MD), 8-1 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeMatha for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15. Annapolis Area Christian will clash with a Stags team coming off a 10-0 league win over The Heights (Potomac, MD). The Stags record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, St. John's Catholic Prep drops to 1-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy (Moneta, VA) to clash with the Ospreys in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 15.
