Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Zion Chapel Rebels (Jack, AL), 10-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Ariton advances its record to 14-2 on the season. The Purple Cats travel to New Brockton (New Brockton, AL) to battle the Gamecocks in a non-league match on Friday, March 14. The Gamecocks come into the match with a record of 7-3. New Brockton lost 12-8 in their recent non-league match against Brantley (Brantley, AL)
