In Thursday's non-league game, the host Lecanto Panthers baseball team scored a close 9-8 win over the The Villages Charter Buffalo.

The Panthers (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 3-10 record. In their last game, Crystal River was tipped by Lecanto (Lecanto, FL), 4-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Buffalo play the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors (Lecanto, FL) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 14. The Villages Charter will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 4-8 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Gulf (New Port Richey, FL).
