The Mater Bay Academy Rays volleyball squad (Cutler Bay, FL), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Colonial Christian Patriots (Homestead, FL)

With the win, Colonial Christian improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Keys Gate (Homestead, FL) to encounter the Knights in a 1A D16 battle on Monday, March 17. The Knights go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Keys Gate lost 3-2 in their recent non-league battle against Sports Leadership & Management (Miami, FL)
