Georgia High School Soccer - Augusta Christian nudges Cardinal Newman
March 13, 2025: Martinez, GA 30907 In Thursday's league outing, the host Augusta Christian Lions soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Cardinal Newman Cardinals.
The Lions (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Heathwood Hall Episcopal (Columbia, SC). The Highlanders go into the SCISA AAA Region I outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Heathwood Hall Episcopal got by Great Falls (Great Falls, SC), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Dreher Blue Devils (Columbia, SC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 20. Cardinal Newman will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
