The Holly Springs Golden Hawks baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Green Hope Falcons to 2 in the Golden Hawks non-league win on Thursday.

The Golden Hawks now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Middle Creek for a non-league test on Monday, March 17. Holly Springs will play a Mustangs team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Green Hope drops to 1-7 on the year. The Falcons host Laney (Wilmington, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. The Buccaneers go into the test with a record of 3-0. Laney won 13-0 in their recent non-league test against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC)
