March 13, 2025: Jonesborough, TN 37659 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the David Crockett Pioneers (Jonesborough, TN) and the visiting Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN), saw David Crockett's soccer squad hold off Unicoi County by a count of 3-2.
The Pioneers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tennessee (Bristol, TN). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Tennessee tipped Daniel Boone (Gray, TN), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones (Elizabethton, TN) in a AA District 1 battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Unicoi County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Fighting Cyclones enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN).
