March 13, 2025: Mountain View, AR 72560 The Cave City Cavemen overwhelmed the host Mountain View Yellowjackets softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Cavemen meet the Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, March 14. Cave City will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 11-6 league win over Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR).
The Yellowjackets (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Salem, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Region 2 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Salem toppled Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR), 22-0, in a league challenge.
