The Broughton Capitals baseball squad (Raleigh, NC), was overwhelmed 7-2 in Friday's league contest with the host Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC)

With the triumph, Corinth Holders upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Wakefield (Raleigh, NC) to face the Wolverines in a CAP 8A battle on Tuesday, March 17. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 4-1. Wakefield won 14-0 in their recent non-league battle against Enloe (Raleigh, NC)
