The Griffin Bears baseball squad (Griffin, GA), was overwhelmed 8-1 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA)

With the triumph, Northside moves its record to 12-3 on the season. The Patriots host Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA) to confront the Tigers in a AAAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, March 17. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 0-13. Mundy's Mill lost 15-0 in their recent league battle against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)

Next, the Bears face the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 battle, on Tuesday, March 17. Griffin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 12-4 record after their 15-0 league win over Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA).
