The Ripon Indians nipped the visiting Hughson Huskies baseball squad by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

Next up, the Indians battle the Downey Knights (Modesto, CA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 17. Ripon will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 2-6 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Salinas (Salinas, CA).

With the defeat, Hughson drops to 4-6 on the year. The Huskies host Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA) to play the Knights in a Trans Valley League outing on Wednesday, March 18.
