McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA), 17-0 in a league game.

The Lions (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Thunder go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Rocklin was overwhelmed by College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Cougars play the West Campus Warriors (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 16. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 1-5 record after their 7-6 league loss to Burbank (Sacramento, CA).
