The Lampasas Badgers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Taylor Ducks to 0 in the Badgers league win on Friday.

The Badgers now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Jarrell for a 4A Region III District 24 test on Tuesday, March 17. Lampasas will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 20-0 league loss to Salado (Salado, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-9.

The Ducks (2-12) will now prepare for their outing against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Cougars enter the 4A Region III District 24 outing with a 1-9 record.
