In Friday's non-league match, the host Branford Buccaneers softball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Eustis Panthers.

The Buccaneers (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Columbia (Lake City, FL). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 9-2 record. In their last match, Columbia tipped Trenton (Trenton, FL), 3-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers play the The Villages Charter Buffalo (The Villages, FL) in a 3A District 7 game, on Thursday, March 19. Eustis will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record.
