The Elko Indians softball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Sparks Railroaders to 0 in the Indians non-league win on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Manogue for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 18. Elko will meet a Miners squad coming off a 15-1 league win over Carson (Carson City, NV). The Miners record now stands at 10-1.

The Railroaders (0-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Spring Creek toppled Wooster (Reno, NV), 18-0, in a non-league challenge.
