The Valley Vikings softball squad (Sacramento, CA), was routed 33-12 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Grant Pacers (Sacramento, CA)

The Pacers (4-6) will now prepare for their bout against West Park (Roseville, CA). The Panthers go into the Metropolitan Conference bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, West Park was routed by Chico (Chico, CA), 8-6, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 23. Valley will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
