The Hermitage Hermits softball team scored 24 runs and held the visiting Strong Bulldogs to 1 in the Hermits league win on Friday.

The Hermits now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emerson for a 1A Region 8 battle on Monday, March 16. Hermitage will confront a Pirates team coming off a 10-8 league win over Lafayette County (Stamps, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
