The Springfield Cougars basketball team (Springfield, PA), was nudged 40-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA)

The Galloping Ghosts now possess a 24-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Carroll for a non-league battle on Friday, March 17. Abington will confront a Patriots team coming off a 41-38 non-league win over Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 12-12.
