Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA) and the visiting Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA), saw Springfield's basketball squad hold off Conestoga by a tally of 32-31.

With the victory, Springfield improves its record to 17-8 on the campaign.
