Washington High School Soccer - Vashon Island nudges Life Christian Academy
March 14, 2023: Vashon Island, WA 98070 Vashon Island Pirates (Vashon Island, WA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Life Christian Academy Eagles (Tacoma, WA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] Rivals (Port Townsend, WA) in a 1A Nisqually challenge, on Thursday, March 16. Vashon Island will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Rivals enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 8-1 league loss to Annie Wright (Tacoma, WA).
The Eagles now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cascade Christian for a 1A Nisqually challenge on Saturday, March 18. Life Christian Academy will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Klahowya (Silverdale, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
