North Carolina High School Softball - Columbia bounces Hobgood Charter
March 14, 2023: Columbia, NC 27925 Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pungo Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 20. Columbia will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Hobgood Charter falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC) to battle the in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 15. The enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. North East Carolina Prep won 20-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Wayne Preparatory Academy (Goldsboro, NC)
