Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) and the visiting Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), witnessed Neville's softball squad tip Grant by a count of 3-2.

The Tigers now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin Parish for a 4A District 2 match on Thursday, March 16. Neville will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Peabody (Alexandria, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Grant moves to 7-5 on the season. The Cougars host St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, March 17. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 18-2. St. Thomas More won 20-0 in their recent league match against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)
