North Carolina High School Baseball - Union Preparatory gets by Queen's Grant

March 14, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105

Union Preparatory Polar Bears (Indian Trail, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC), 6-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Union Preparatory moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Polar Bears travel to Concord Academy (Concord, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 21. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 5-1.

The Stallions now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Corvian Community for a non-league battle on Monday, March 18. Queen's Grant will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-5.
