Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Catawba Ridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15. Union County will face a Copperheads squad coming off a 12-0 league win over York (York, SC). The Copperheads record now stands at 3-0.
