Arizona High School Softball - Chinle bounces Pinon
March 14, 2024: Pinon, AZ 86510 Chinle Wildcats (Chinle, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ), 18-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monument Valley for a 3A North challenge on Saturday, March 16. Chinle will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 20-0 league win over Ganado (Ganado, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Pinon falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Northland Prep Academy (Flagstaff, AZ) to face the Spartans in a non-league match on Monday, March 18. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 0-1.
