Tennessee High School Softball - McEwen bounces Hickman County
March 14, 2024: Centerville, TN 37033 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the McEwen Warriors (McEwen, TN) and the host Hickman County Bulldogs (Centerville, TN), witnessed McEwen's softball squad tip Hickman County by a count of 19-13.
The Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Stewart County for a non-league match on Friday, March 15. McEwen will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 14-1 non-league win over Murray (Murray, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Hickman County moves to 0-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Zion Christian Academy (Columbia, TN) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, March 16. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 2-1. Zion Christian Academy won 8-0 in their recent non-league match against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TN)
