Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Alamo Heights Mules (San Antonio, TX), 18-11 in a league match.

With the triumph, Smithson Valley advances its record to 10-4 on the season. The Rangers host Boerne (Boerne, TX) to battle the Greyhounds in a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Tuesday, March 18. The Greyhounds come into the match with a record of 12-2. Boerne won 16-4 in their recent league match against Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX)

The Mules now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boerne-Champion for a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Tuesday, March 18.
