In Friday's league game, the host Central Jaguars baseball team scored a close 9-8 win over the Baker Gators.

The Jaguars (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Lighthouse Private Christian Academy (Pensacola, FL). The Stingrays go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy nudged Pine Forest (Pensacola, FL), 14-6, in a non-league game.

Next, the Gators play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 17. Baker will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Fighting Irish go into the game with a 2-4 record after their 17-9 non-league loss to Rhea County (Evensville, TN).
