In Friday's non-league bout, the Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), by a tally of 11-5.

Next up, the Rams encounter the Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel bout, on Monday, March 17. Ridgecroft will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.

The Falcons (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Vikings enter the Four Rivers 1A bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, Tarboro edged North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC), 7-0, in a non-league bout.
