The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) and the host Fredericksburg Christian Eagles (Fredericksburg, VA), saw The Covenant's baseball team gain a win over Fredericksburg Christian by a tally of 14-9.

The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA). The Seahorses enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Christchurch School was overwhelmed by Steward (Richmond, VA), 23-8, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles face the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 17. Fredericksburg Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Navigators enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Life Christian Academy (Chester, VA).
