Texas High School Baseball - Stony Point holds off Vandegrift
March 14, 2025: Austin, TX 78730 The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Stony Point Tigers (Round Rock, TX) and the host Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX), saw Stony Point's baseball team gain a win over Vandegrift by a tally of 7-3.
The Tigers (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX). The Rangers enter the 6A Region IV District 25 battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Vista Ridge was overwhelmed by Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 4-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Vipers face the Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 battle, on Tuesday, April 1. Vandegrift will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record.
